The history of camping

A little history

Les Bruyères campsite used to be called Camping du Bouis, after the village next to it.

Created in 1965 on farmland and requiring little infrastructure at the outset, the campsite has kept pace with customer demand, while retaining its spirit of unspoilt nature and authenticity.

Since 2001, when we took over the campsite, we’ve tried to keep the same spirit of a traditional, family campsite, with 70% of pitches dedicated to tents, caravans, vans and motorhomes. So if you’ve chosen the Crozon peninsula and its natural setting, don’t hesitate to come and take a break with us, with or without a car, you’ll be charmed by this little corner of the world by the sea, or almost by the sea!
