A walk around Quimper
Douarnenez is a seaside town with no less than 4 harbors, and its narrow streets are lined with fishermen’s workshops and houses.
A Mecca for sardine fishing in the 19th century, it’s a place steeped in history, where legend meets gastronomy.
Pointe du Raz is a masterpiece of nature, classified as a “Grand site de France”, and rises to a height of some 70 metres.
Sculpted by the ocean and the winds, it offers a magnificent panorama of the open sea and the Ile de Sein.
Together with its neighbouring headland, the Pointe du Van, they form the Baie des Trépassés.
